Life experiences can be challenging, and sometimes painful.
You do not have to sit alone with the pain. Whether you’ve experienced adverse life events – such as abuse, neglect, divorce or separation, childhood trauma, or relationship difficulties, or if you are struggling with complex trauma, depression, anxiety, disordered eating, OCD, and/or substance use/abuse, I am here to help.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and trauma-informed care. Every person’s search for wellness is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs. It is my honor to serve you through a person-centered lens, with cultural competence and evidence-based care.
Together, we will create an authentic environment where you can explore your lived experiences and emotions without judgment. I utilize various therapeutic modalities such as Psychotherapy, Trauma Systems Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Behavioral Therapies such as CBT, DBT, and ACT, among others.
I am also trained in Brainspotting, a treatment method that works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, and trauma. Brainspotting is a holistic approach that taps into the brain’s natural ability to heal itself. Through guided sessions, we’ll identify and process areas of emotional and physiological distress, allowing for healing and transformation.
I understand the profound impact that trauma can have on your life, and I am here to help you heal from its lasting effects. Whether you’re struggling with past traumas or navigating ongoing challenges, I will walk beside you as you work through the pain and find a path toward resilience and recovery.
I am passionate about working with both individuals and families. I believe that by starting therapy and doing inner work, we not only have the power to transform our own lives but also to positively impact those around us. Healing is a journey that can extend beyond ourselves, touching the lives of our loved ones and communities.
Together, we will explore the depths of your experiences, uncover your inner strength, and work towards a brighter, more fulfilling future.
