- At-Home Practice: Reinforce your learning with practical skill-building activities after each session. These tasks are tailored to help you apply what you’ve learned in session to your everyday life, deepening your understanding of how to manage your anxiety long-term on your own.

Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)
Developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, SSP is a non-invasive, auditory intervention designed to reduce stress and auditory sensitivity while enhancing social engagement and resilience.
What is the SSP?
The SSP is based on Dr. Porges’ Polyvagal Theory, which suggests that the vagus nerve plays a key role in regulating the autonomic nervous system (ANS). The protocol involves listening to five hours of specially filtered music through headphones at home, which you will complete twice throughout the 12-week program. This music is designed to stimulate the vagus nerve, helping to calm the nervous system and promote a state of safety and well-being.
