Hey you! If you are reading this, know you have already made the brave choice of even considering counseling. At times, it can seem like prioritizing ourselves and our needs is selfish but it is exactly the opposite. By taking care of yourself, you can show up better in your own life and the lives of those important to you. My office is a safe space just for you to take a pause from the stress of everyday life and feel supported in challenging times.

My particular areas of focus are body image concerns, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and perfectionism. I also enjoy walking alongside clients as they discover their own needs and boundaries and learn to live a more fulfilling life.

I meet clients where they are with an accepting and nonjudgmental demeanor. All clients are unique and therefore a key part of our work together is collaborating on a treatment plan that will fit you personally and help you achieve your goals!

In my work, I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness, and I am also brainspotting trained and will use these approaches to support you as you work through life's challenges.

Katie is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate in the state of Texas and is supervised by Ametis Bassir, LPC-S.
