Life is hard. And sometimes life is harder than what we’re equipped for. When that happens, seeking help can be daunting, and finding a therapist who’s a good fit even harder. While I can’t magically make everything better or brighter, I will sit in and walk through the darkness with you until we make it to the light.
I have experience working with individuals who have dealt with trauma, depression, self-harm, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, identity crisis, ADHD, autism, and bipolar disorder. I see adults working through these and other concerns, and look forward to joining with you on your healing journey.
I use an integrative therapeutic style in my work, meaning I draw from multiple modalities and styles of therapy, in an effort to tailor my style to what best fits each individual. I am a firm believer that we are all unique and therefore require our own unique style of therapy.
I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, person-centered, solutions-focused, trauma-informed, gender-affirming, reality, Gestalt, multicultural, and strengths-based therapeutic approaches. For those clients seeking trauma therapy, I am trained in Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) and EMDR therapy.
My clients appreciate my warmth, authenticity, sincerity, and humor. I mindfully hold space in a way that allows others to feel safe and valued. Individuals of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome. Above all in our work together, I strive for our space to be one where you can be your authentic self, as that allows for the most impactful work.
